Recipe: Bugle Snack Mix

Think about it … when was the last time you had Bugles? This is a super-easy snack mix which will feed a large group. (Like maybe when you have a house-full around the holidays?!?!) A printable version of this recipe can be found here. Enjoy!

Bugle Snack Mix

Ingredients

Bugles (14 oz. or so)
Mini Pretzels (12 oz. or so)
Cheddar flavored fish-shaped crackers (1 package)
Cashews (10 oz. or so)
1 package ranch dressing mix
3/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

Toss all ingredients together in a large bowl a few hours before serving (gives the flavors time to blend). Voila!

I love Bugles! So salty, so crunchy! I’m intrigued by this seasoning and might have to try it…Perhaps a New Year’s Eve party mix

can I make the Bugle Snack Mix 3 days ahead of time?

  3. I’ve had good luck with making it ahead of time, even several days. Just make sure it’s in a sealed container. Hope you like it!

I make a similar recipe and always make a big batch. Then put in quart size freezer bags and put them in the freezer. Then I don’t worry about the oil getting rancid and always have them ready when needed.
