I’m combining days 4 and 5 into a single update. If you missed the earlier days here are some links to catch up!
Here are a few pictures from Day 4.
Interesting how we can still tell the hatching order. The baby whose head is rightmost in the picture hatched first. The baby toward the bottom of the picture hatched last. We will eventually lose track of this as they all grow, but for now it’s still evident.
Later in the day on Day 4:
This picture shows the size difference of the youngest bird (I don’t like the word “runt.”) S/he is middle left in this picture.
And now, moving on to day 5. We just adore the way they lay upside down on their backs.
