Caterpillar Corner – Episode 4

They’ve molted! At this stage, our Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars are using their green color as camouflage. Previously, they were colored like … well … bird poop (brown and white.) But now they’re green, and they’ll stay green for awhile.

We’ve updated the collage with the newest view. I enjoy watching the progression.
